Sky High Glacier, Paraglide & Heli.

From CHF 4,500. A day of height.

It begins and ends in Zurich. In between, the day climbs. Titlis at 3,020 metres: the Cliff Walk, the glacier cave, a short roped ridge with a certified alpine guide. Lunch at the Panorama Restaurant. A tandem paraglide into the Engelberg valley, if the wind allows. Then a private helicopter along the Eiger, the Jungfrau, and the Aletsch. A glass at Lake Brienz. Home.

That is the journey, as written. This page will not improve it by rearranging the hours.

Height in Switzerland is not rare. What is rare is a day that does not spend itself in queues, substitutions, and the particular fatigue of a mountain used as a backdrop. OZ is a concierge. He does not clip you to a rope. The guide on the ridge is a guide. The pilot is a pilot. The house's work is to hold the sequence so that each part is the part that was named, and not a lesser thing offered with a smile when the first thing failed.

If the wind does not allow the paraglide, the wind does not allow it. A house that promises the sky in every weather is not a house you should write to. The rest of the day still stands.

No one has travelled this WaterMark day yet. There is no photograph from it, and there will not be a review written in advance. The mountains are old. The house is new. The price is CHF 4,500.

English and Spanish. The first conversation is with OZ.

Passes & Palaces.

From CHF 16,000. High roads, then rooms that still know how to keep quiet. Passes & Palaces is a named journey, not a list of sights. The itinerary stays as written. This house does not rewrite a prod
