Toboggan Runs and Champagne Nights. Zurich to St. Moritz.
From CHF 26,616. Seven days, January to March. Out of Zurich to Grindelwald, back over the Julier from St. Moritz, with Gstaad and the Albula between.
The sled is the point. Every day of this week has a run in it, and the nights follow from where the run ends: fondue at Brandegg before the floodlit descent, champagne on the Kulm terrace on the last Engadin evening. It sits under the Definitive, not instead of it. One winter, one argument.
Above Grindelwald, the Big Pintenfritz: some 15 kilometres from the Faulhorn down to Bussalp, the longest sled run in the world. Under the Eiger, the night run from Brandegg. In Gstaad, the Hornberg and the Wispile. On the Albula, the red RhB up to Preda and the run down to Bergün. In the Engadin, Muottas Muragl, Marguns and Zuoz. The rooms are the Romantik Hotel Schweizerhof in Grindelwald, The Alpina Gstaad and the Kulm Hotel in St. Moritz.
The written week moves when the mountain does. Dinner at The Alpina is Megu, the house's Japanese room. Eggli Night Vibes in Gstaad is night skiing and fondue, Thursdays from 7 January 2027. Sledges do not ride the night gondola, so it stays an option, not a run.
No WaterMark guest has travelled this week yet. There are no guest photographs and nothing to quote. The runs, the hotels and the price are real.
Every hour of it is on the journey page, Toboggan Runs and Champagne Nights. English and Spanish. The first conversation is with OZ. Request availability.
