Package Overview

The Ultimate Alpine Descent, 7 Days of Luxury, Speed, and Reckless Beauty

There are trips you take. And then there are journeys that take you. This one doesn’t politely invite you into the Alps, it throws you headfirst into their raw, snow-carved heart. Seven days. A private driver, a personal host, a photographer who never misses the moment you forget you’re posing. Five-star suites, Michelin-star dining, champagne that somehow tastes colder at altitude. And in between? The kind of downhill runs that make legends, not tourists.

It begins in Zurich, civilized, calm. Coffee steaming, luggage vanishing into your private transfer. Within hours, you’re strapping on a helmet in Grindelwald, standing at the edge of the Firstbahn ridge. Below you: a 15-kilometer ribbon of ice, the Big Pintenfritz, the longest toboggan run on earth. It’s not just fast. It’s merciless. One wrong lean, and you’re introduced to Swiss snow the hard way. But that’s the thrill, isn’t it? Anyone can sip wine on a terrace. Few have the nerve to throw themselves down the spine of a mountain and laugh at gravity on the way.

This is not the kind of luxury that coddles you. It dares you. The Eiger Run lights up at night, a glowing track beneath one of the most dangerous faces in alpinism. You descend in a blur of sparks and shadows, headlamps slicing the dark. At the bottom, raclette bubbles, glühwein steams, and you remember: comfort is sweetest when it’s earned.

By Gstaad, the rhythm has shifted. Three runs on the Hornberg, fine dining at 1,800 meters, then suites at The Alpina where the spa windows look out over a valley that feels like it belongs to you alone. Optional night sledding? Yes, optional, but ask yourself: if you came this far to taste the Alps at night, are you really the type to say no?

And then the crescendo. The Albula Valley. The red Rhätische Bahn curling through UNESCO viaducts, glass domes framing a frozen cathedral of stone. At Preda, you grip the sled one last time, the 6.5 km track dropping beneath you in a rush of tunnels, bridges, and bends that fling you into Bergün with adrenaline dripping from your fingertips. And finally, St. Moritz, Kulm Hotel, champagne, chandeliers, and a suite that erases the line between legend and luxury.

But the danger never leaves. Muottas Muragl, Marguns, Zuoz, each run a dare, each descent a reminder that nature is bigger, faster, colder than you’ll ever be. That’s the point. You don’t come here to be safe. You come here to feel alive in a way most people have forgotten is possible.

And when it’s over, when the van rolls back into Zurich and the skyline replaces the peaks, you’ll know you didn’t just take a holiday. You crossed Switzerland the way few ever will, at speed, at risk, and at a level of luxury that almost feels criminal.

This is not a package. It’s a story you’ll tell until the day you can’t. It’s the trip people envy, the one they don’t quite believe until you show them the photos. A week of reckless elegance. A duel with the Alps, softened only by the finest hotels and the softest sheets.

Dare yourself. The mountains are waiting.
