The Definitive. Lake to lake, fourteen days.
From CHF 74,700. Fourteen days. It opens above Lake Lucerne at Bürgenstock and closes on Lake Zurich at Baur au Lac. Everything between is written.
The route is the argument. Rigi, then Bürgenstock. Giessbach and the Jungfraujoch. The Schilthorn, the Lötschberg car train into Valais, a carriage into Zermatt and a helicopter around the Matterhorn. Over Sion, a seat in a real L-39 Albatros, the operator's own aircraft. Gstaad, Glacier 3000 and a balloon. Andermatt, then south to Bellinzona, Lugano and Eden Roc at Ascona. Over the Julier to Badrutt's Palace and the Olympia Bob Run. Schloss Schauenstein, the waters at Bad Ragaz, the Abbey Library in St. Gallen, and the last night at Baur au Lac.
A list like that is easy to print. Holding it is the work. Kitchens close for a season. Rooms rest. When a table goes dark, the evening moves close to where it stood: same hotel, same town, same arc. This autumn it already has. Memories at Bad Ragaz rests 4 to 8 October, so the Grand Resort's own dining rooms carry that night. Marguita at Baur au Lac pauses 12 to 18 October, so Baur's or Le Hall, in the same house, takes the farewell. In St. Moritz, Grill Chadafö at Chesa Veglia holds the table until the Kulm Country Club opens for winter on 4 December. The price does not move.
No WaterMark guest has travelled the Definitive yet. There are no guest photographs and nothing to quote. The hotels, the passes and the aircraft are real. So is the price.
One journey, not a menu. English and Spanish. The first conversation is with OZ. Request availability.
