INTERLAKEN
Where Adventure Meets Elegance

Nestled between Lakes Thun and Brienz, framed by the snow-capped peaks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, Interlaken is where Switzerland’s raw beauty meets refined sophistication. It’s a destination for those who crave both thrill and tranquility, where mornings begin in misty mountain air and evenings end with champagne by the lake.

With Watermark, Interlaken becomes a stage for cinematic moments. Every journey is tailored — from private helicopters above glaciers to serene spa afternoons overlooking turquoise waters. This is the Swiss Alps reimagined: wild, majestic, and entirely yours.

When to Visit:

INTERLAKEN AT ITS BEST

Autumn (September–November)
The air turns crisp, the lakes turn silver, and the mountains glow bronze in the slanting light. Autumn in Interlaken is a quiet masterpiece: helicopter rides above fiery forests, wine tastings on the lakeshore, and warm afternoons spent in boutique cafés watching paragliders float down like petals. September brings harvest markets and alpenhorn echoes; October ushers in golden hiking days and open-cellar weekends; November offers the perfect calm before winter’s adrenaline rush.

Winter (December–February)
This is the alpine fairytale season. Snow blankets the Jungfrau peaks, chalets sparkle under twinkling lights, and frozen waterfalls shimmer along quiet trails. December glows with Christmas villages, torchlit lake walks, and open-air fondue nights. January and February bring full-throttle adventure, heli-skiing, glacier treks, snowshoe safaris, and nights of candlelit dining in old timber inns. It’s both serenity and thrill, wrapped in white.

Spring (March–May)
When the snow releases its grip, Interlaken blooms. The meadows turn emerald, the rivers roar, and the season of contrast begins, still-snowy summits above, fresh flowers below. Cableways reopen, trails dry, and the city celebrates with parades, artisan weekends, and music on the riverfront. By May, terraces hum with locals sipping crisp Swiss rosé while the first paragliders of the season fill the skies again.

Summer (June–August)
This is Interlaken’s showtime. The water sparkles turquoise, peaks shimmer in heat haze, and the town buzzes with adventure and rhythm. Hot-air balloons lift at dawn, jetboats skim Lake Brienz, and summer evenings stretch into music, lights, and lakeside laughter. Street-food festivals, open-air concerts, and folk nights take over the squares. The mountains may frame the view, but summer here is about life between them.
